Horizontal drains
According to DWA-A 138 (2005), paved areas are not applied anymore as infiltration areas and are not discussed here. A paved area as an area to be dewatered may be applied with the respective ψ value for the Au area. Infiltration types 1-6 may optionally be calculated for the infiltration of precipitations with the respective rainwater quantities or for the infiltration of a predefined influx quantity e.g. water from the dewatering of constructions. To calculate the infiltration of precipitations, in Settings – Rainwater quantities enter or select the rainwater quantities for the respective time points e.g. adhering to KOSTRA Atlas. Well infiltrations may be calculated additionally with the equation of damming up adhering to Herth - Arndts, i.e. when you have the influx and the permissible dam-up height preset, you may calculate the required well diameter or the required number of wells. You may also calculate the infiltration through horizontal drains depending on the parameters of the drain canals.
