The program DC Shear is used for the display and evaluation of shear strength tests acc. to DIN 18 137, EN ISO/TS 17892-10. With the option DC Shear -3D triaxial tests according to DIN 18 137 p. 2 may be displayed and evaluated additionally.

The program is working based on project files, i.e. for any project a file is created (e.g. with the project number as its name) which may have an unlimited number of tests.

Basic functions

• Square or circular sample shape
• Loading in kg or kN, shear course in mm or 1/100 mm
• Evaluation of friction angle and/or cohesion
• Graphic of the shear circles or of the shearing path and the vertical deformation
• Adjustable units of the graphic
• Addition DC Shear-3D: Triaxial test according to DIN 18 137 Part 2 (D, CU, CCV or UU test)
